Overview

Rynne (“we”, “us”) is an event and workflow platform operated by Mantitup. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Rynne at https://rynne.live, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email, profile details, and authentication information when you sign in (including Google sign-in when you choose it).
  • Event & registration data — events you create, questions, answers, RSVPs, team membership, tasks, submissions, and reviews.
  • Files & media — covers, avatars, and other assets you upload to Rynne. Large guest uploads may be stored in an organizer’s connected Google Drive account when that organizer enables Drive storage.
  • Usage & device data — basic logs needed to operate the service (for example IP address, browser type, and approximate timestamps).

How we use information

  • Provide and improve event hosting, registration, teams, and reviews
  • Authenticate users and protect accounts
  • Send transactional email (invites, RSVP updates, reminders)
  • Support organizers who connect Google Drive for file storage
  • Detect abuse, debug issues, and keep the platform secure

Google Drive & Google account access

Organizers may optionally connect Google Drive so guest file uploads are stored in the organizer’s Drive under a Rynne-managed folder tree. When connected, Rynne requests limited Drive access (files created by Rynne) and stores encrypted OAuth tokens server-side. We do not sell Drive content. Disconnecting Drive stops new uploads; existing Drive files remain in the organizer’s Google account, and Rynne may keep file metadata needed for the event workflow.

Google sign-in (login) is separate from Drive storage. Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply to Google services you use.

Sharing

We share information with service providers that help us run Rynne (hosting, email, storage, analytics) under contractual obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the platform. Event organizers can see registration and submission data for their events according to event permissions.

Retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. OAuth tokens and secrets are stored encrypted and are never exposed to browsers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, and basic product analytics needed to run Rynne. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.

Your choices

  • Update profile details in your Rynne account
  • Disconnect Google Drive from organizer storage controls
